Michael Ryan MIACP has a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Social Science and Suicidology.

Counselling and Psychotherapy can help when you are experiencing difficulties in life that are affecting your happiness and wellbeing such as:

My approach

My aim is to assist you to work through your issues in a safe and confidential environment and to lead you towards a sense of inner balance and peace of mind.


My approach is humanistic and integrative and is designed to explore all avenues with you, in order to reach your true potential in life, without allowing issues and difficulties of 

My aim is to assist you to work through your issues in a safe and confidential environment and to lead you towards a sense of inner balance and peace of mind.


My approach is humanistic and integrative and is designed to explore all avenues with you, in order to reach your true potential in life, without allowing issues and difficulties of the past to block your progress to the future.


The session usually lasts 50-55 minutes and there is no minimum or maximum number of sessions.


I work with individuals, including adults and adolescents and am based in the Dublin 15 area.


Counselling in person is always carried out in accordance with current public health guidelines.  Sessions are also available via video-call and telephone for those who wish to use those mediums instead.
